Mr. Popper's PenguinsJust in time for the DVD release of the film adaptation starring Jim Carrey, Mr. Popper's Penguins, by Richard and Florence Atwater, is now available in digital format with video enhancements from Open Road Integrated Media. Mr. Popper's Penguins, a Newbery Honor book first published in 1938, is a charming tale about a house painter who receives a penguin as a gift, turning his simple life into one of adventure and fame. 

This enhanced ebook edition of Mr. Popper's Penguins features an illustrated biography of Richard and Florence Atwater, including rare photos from the authors’ estate, as well as a two videos from Fox Entertainment. The first video is a charming documentary featuring Anita Silvey, author of Everything I Need to Know I learned from a Children’s Book, and Alec and Kate Bishop, grandchildren of Florence and Richard Atwater, who discuss the history of the Atwaters’ relationship and the story behind the creation of the book. The second video included is the trailer for the 2011 movie adaptation of Mr. Popper’s Penguins.
